Melissa Eason is an artisan at New Living who is passionate about fallen timber and reclaimed wood, particularly wood that is naturally fallen from droughts, fires, or development booms. Each Treeng has been designed and crafted in-house, all made from 3rd generation table scraps left over from the reclaimed wood we’re using in our Made @ workshop. She learned how to work with metal from her grandfather, Joe Eason, a silver smith who has been making jewelry for decades.

Melissa is so passionate about fallen timber she curated an art art show based on works all created from found/discarded wood. She even wrote and sang this song about a tree during the show:

Each ring has its own story, and is available with or without inlayed brass. All rings come in 6, 7, 8, 8.5, 9, 10 and custom sizes are available for a 10% up charge above the closest available size.
