Last week Diane Alexander – interior designer of Diane Alexander Designs – joined us in store to talk about “Healing Environments”. In her fascinating discussion she talked about how she uses Evidence Based Design to help her create environments that fit the health and emotional needs of her clients. This talk is a MUST SEE for anyone interested in healthy indoors, interior design, or in using research to create a home that serves your health and emotional well being!
This summer New Living will be featuring a series of talks on variety of subjects related to healthy indoors. Check our blog weekly or our calendar on our website to find new talks from professionals on how indoor air quality can effect your health and what you can do about it.
Some more about Diane Alexander:
Alexander is an ASID and LEED AP, and has worked with a passion for sustainable design and healthy interiors throughout her career. Last year Diane’s grandson, Knox, was born with Down Syndrome. She realized that few good sources were available for those facing the situation of adapting the home for Autism, ADHD, Parkinson’s, MS, Alzheimer’s and other special needs. Her core focus is using Evidence Based Design’s to produce healthy, safe, affordable, and well designed solutions to interiors.Share:
